Thursday, May 17, we will be testing our sprinkler / fire systems in each building.  This will require us to check the emergency horn.  Each building will be tested and you will hear a very loud horn blow.  This could occur several times in each building for a brief period.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  We will not be testing The Studio Building.

The Elbow Room has been in the same location since 1933 located at 605 N. Pennsylvania!  They are known for their Great Hamburgers and “Elbowtizers!”  They have now gone smokeless!  Enjoy The Summer Concert Series the 1st and 3rd Saturday starting this month!  A wonderful weekend breakfast is served from 11 AM to @ 2 PM Saturday and Sunday!   You can contact the Elbow Room @ 317-635-3354.  Enjoy!

Earth Day Indiana will will be celebrated in downtown Indy on Saturday, April 28 from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p. m. at  The White River State Park.  This is a free outdoor festival. There will be 140 environmental and conservation exhibits.  You will enjoy live music and great food.  For more information go to www.earthdayindiana.org.

This Sunday, April 22 is Earth Day! 

Plant a flower or a vegetable or plant in honor of Earth Day!  We will be handing out different types of plants and flowers at The Waverley Clubhouse Friday, April 20th!  We will have a variety to choose from!  We will have a drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Whole Foods.

Every year JC Hart host an annual Shining star award ceremony for all of it’s employee’s.  Many are reconized for outstanding service.   In addition special awards are giving for outstanding performances in Passion, Excellence, Teamwork, innovation, integrity and development. For the last 2 years in a row The Waverley has taken the gold metal of the shining stars big award (Community Of The Year)!!! 

Danny Dugger our wonderful maintenance supervision won the award for BEST Maintenance supervision of the year!! Way to go Danny:)  If any of you know Danny very well your probably not surprised.  Danny is extremely dedicated to making our property shine, and is always willing to go the extra mile  We are extremely fortunate to have such a wonderful staff here at The Wave!!

Our very own wild and crazy Chris Clark celebrated his 5 year mark with the company!!   Next time you see him give him a big pat on the back:)

Recycling has come to The Waverley!  We have what is referred to as “single stream” recycling.  You do not have to separate your items!  The following is a list of items you can recycle:  Paper:  newspaper, magazines, junk mail small cardboard, office / computer paper;  Cans:  beverage cans, soup & food cans (rinse cans, place lids inside cans);  Plastics:  soda & water bottles, milk jugs & detergent bottles, other household plastics marked 1 – 7.  Please make sure you place all of your recycling items inside the containers.

The recycling bins are located in a gated dumpster bin in The Studios parking lot pool side.  Please call or email us with any questions you may have!
